In the song “I’m Afraid of Americans” there is a certain refrain. It’s an upbeat suggestion of “God being an American.” (You’ll find the classic hit at the bottom of this page, alongside the fun project video I made to it)
Some days (not all, please mind you), nothing could seem closer to the truth.
When times are the very worst..a kicked back, corn chip inhaling slacker of an American god is what I can imagine-shooting and running countless video game characters to their individual destruction with adolescent glee.
