What a delight it was to find a modern young lady expert in what some may call a “gender specific” tradition of knitting. I don’t consider it gender specific, however there is such vitriol spewed over what girls “should or should not be” interested in, that it’s a beautiful relief to witness evidence of confident young women doing as they please-especially in the arts and traditions carried on through the centuries.
